Good News!!!

I have good news everyone! After writing multiple complaints to Ebay, Paypal, and speaking to American Express, the Seller has agreed to give me a FULL REFUND. I had also threatened the seller with going to my lawyer, going to the IFCC (Internet Fraud and Complaint Center) who works with the White Collar Crime Center and local law enforcement agencies.



In fact... . I need to give a thumbs up to Ebay and Paypal because they jumped all over this guy. Ebay gave him the boot and he is no longer an active member. Paypal froze all this guys funds while they investigate. American Express was great too. They suspended my payment to the AmEx while they were going to perform their own investigation through their online protection program. I have always had confidence in American Express, but I now have renewed confidence in Ebay and Paypal. They did a great job.



Now that I have my money back..... Hmmm... . what to do... . what to do?? The Alpine IVA-D900 is still on the wish list.

I'd take that money and just go buy it from a reputable dealer. Think how enjoyable that would be on a long trip and the years of enjoyment you'll get out of it. Things like this are almost always worth the money IMO.

I just got the Pioneer navigation system for my truck. I first ordered it from a place called Autotoys.com DO NOT do business with these people, they burned me. I ordered it on 1/18/04 and after almost 2 months, I still didn't have it. I finally got them to refund my money for the Pioneer unit after many e-mails ( no phone number to call to talk to a live person ) but I can't get them to refund the rest of my money for the dash kit and the wireing harness that I ordered.

I ordered a unit from Etronics, and had it in less than a week, and had a local guy install it in less than 2 hours for $100. 00 includeing the dash kit and the wireing harness.
