Thanks, TDR Staff

Who would rather have a 6.0L in their Dodge Ram?

  • I'll take a 6.0L.

  • I'll stick with my 6 shaker!!!

Fuel overpriced?

Who Has Had Their Tank Dipped??

I figured I'd go ahead and poll the question. It seems that 72% of 6. 0 owners would rather have the Cummins engine in their SD's. I'm going to flip the question and ask all Cummins owners "Who would rather have the 6. 0 in their Dodge Ram?" I'm going to make a prediction - less than 5%.

I'm loyal to the engine, and kind of loyal to the transmission & axles, but would rather have an F-350 wrapped around all of it. :)

Ditto: I'd like an SD F-350 dually with a properly valved and injected B5. 9 in it. :p

Currently 5.13% of TDR members are idiots

hehe, just kidding, sorta.

I think the poll is phrased incorrectly. It should ask if we would like a 6. 0 PS over our Cummins. I bet a few were maybe thinking a 6. 0 I6 Cummins...

If you read the #1 post, it states the question pretty clear. I guess you should read the thread to understand the question. Sorry

Hell, I wouldn't mind my engine wrapped around a mid-late 90s Ford, just like you have. I don't like the SuperDuty line, the dash looks terrible and the pass floor board is small due to the firewall.

Travis. .

I'd love a Ford truck with a cummins motor, but I don't see it ever happening. As far as the 6. 0, as many miles as I drive and as much as they are in the shop I think I would be broke. 73K problem free miles on my 03! Oo.

Talked with a friend of mine the other day with Ford and was told the 6. 0 is out and being replaced with a 6. 5 twin turbo in 2007. I still have two 7. 3's in the drive and would have had a third new one if not for the 6. 0. The Dodge has become my daily driver.
