Alright, who wants to switch over to 6.0???

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Who would rather have a 6.0L in their Dodge Ram?

  • I'll take a 6.0L.

    Votes: 4 1.7%
  • I'll stick with my 6 shaker!!!

    Votes: 233 98.3%

  • Total voters
    237

Fuel overpriced?

Who Has Had Their Tank Dipped??

Anyone else notice Ford just replaced their head of N. A. operations again? That makes 4 in as many years. Many in the press now classify them as a "troubled automaker", and William Ford, Jr's "turnaround" plan is now being referred to as a failure.

No way no how. I didn't buy a dodge, i got a cummins, and i will continue to buy cummins no matter what its in. My dream would be to have honda or toyota build a true full size and put a cummins in it. then at least the whole package would be at least as good as the motor

Cummins are great, maybe the best engine ever made, but Dodge a very good too. Much better then Furd or Chevy.

I think this a very good representation of how many are actually disgruntled with there Cummins. 4 out of 196 voters were not happy. That is a pretty good percentage in my book. Can't expect every single one built to be perfect, even Toyo and Honda make a lemon once in a while. I am like many others, in that I would like to have the Ford shell wrapped around my Cummins, but since that would mean I would have to step up to a F650 at the moment, I will pass..... Now if the price was relatively close to what I paid for my 05', we might be seeing it in the driveway also.

My cousin went to Wyo Tech and got certified to work on Powerstrokes. He got hired by Ford and works in Colorado for them. He said that they are always busy, never a dull moment in thier shop. He said he could change a motor in his sleep because that's what they end up doing with them all. First they'll change the injector's then they'll try a new computer and then they say to hell with it and change the motor... . "That's why he drives a Cummins"!!!!!! I don't know why anyone would want a 6. 0. If you do any "real" research at all, you know their junk... .

I actually made the journey from Dodge to Ford and back. I had a perfectly good and healthy 03 CTD that I traded for an 05 PSD. I really needed a crew cab, and I have to admit I liked the Ford styling. The Ford was a very nice truck. Very sleek, very comfortable, and absolutely problem free (I only owned it for about a year though). The 05 Ford was such a dog off the line though. Once it wound up it would run like gangbusters, but it was a 6 speed and it just had no low-end at all. Well, since I didn't like the low-end and because I was getting spooked with EGR and coolant puking horror stories, I traded the 05 PSD for an 02 7. 3L. That truck was nice too. Much better low-end and no problems at all. But... I finally found the 12-valve Cummins that I'd really been wanting all along. Now I'm as happy as can be. No other engine compares to the Cummins - especially a 12-valve. Drives like a diesel and it'll last forever.

I've had Furd before and I'll never have another. That was the worst piece of junk. I like the Dodge w/Cummins combination.

I'm totally shocked that 4 people voted for the 6L powerjoke. Will the 4 fools stand up and be recognized.
