I haven't checked the fender plug yet. I'm on my home stretch of my holiday now and I will get my home dealer to look into these things. I know them well enough that they will listen to what I have to say and try it. The U110e I found to be the ambient temp sensor as well and it has been replaced twice already!?? Thanks for the help, it will help me point them in certain directions.

Foamed fluid (or low fluid, or low line pressure, or other fluid level issues) will not cause the P0706 / P0850 faults. They are strictly electrical / TRS issues.

OK, so sensor replaced twice and still not working. Just a guess, but pretty sure it isn't the sensor! Need to have them check wiring and connectors.

Look real closely for rodential munch marks, or places where tie wraps were applied very tightly. Either can cause broken copper conductors and intermittent high resistance or non-conductance. I have had one incidence of each on vehicles.

I have it booked in at my home dealer for Tuesday when I'm home from holidays and will go over this with them on checking the wiring plugs, ties etc.

UPDATE-
Well the truck finally did the limp mode to after only driving it up town for about 5 minutes of driving, so much for the past 3 hrs plus before it happens, so I drove it straight to the dealer ship and never took it out of drive and the shop manager plugged in and finally caught it showing what was up. It was one of the solenoids in the valve body area that was showing closed when it was supposed to be open. After about 5 minutes of him testing, it finally opened when it was supposed to be open. So hopefully tomorrow they will have the directions back from tech as to replace the part, or is it a wiring issue. They did check all the connectors as has been suggested here as well as the floor board area where I had ran two screws through the floor for my train horn switch and the missed the harness by quite a bit. It did do something new that was strange though, when the PRND indicators when back to being white, the line pressure was still hiGH for a couple of shifts, then everything went back to normal. He got everything recorded with the data recorder to send in to engineering for them to evaluate. I sure hope they get it fixed now, and the first time.

They traced the problem to the I255 harness plug that is the big one that is just under the drivers side floor board that TransEngineer has been saying all along. They found that the plastic snap clip that holds pin # 21 in place was broke therefore letting the pin move back out of contact with the other half of the connection. pin 21 was for circuit T42 which happens to be the one that was saying open when they were doing the switch open/closed test for the range selector. They moved the wires from pin 21 to the empty pin 19 spot. Good call TransEngineer. Now if only that dealer that I was at on holidays had checked that connector, they may have seen a pin that wasn't out flush with the rest!!!!
Hope that's the end of this problem!!!!
