In need of a quality oil drainplug

Hi All!

This may be beneficial to those of you that live in an area that has a “Case” farm tractor/implement dealer close to your residence. Maybe other farm/implement manufactures also use Cummins engines. It may be “old” information for a lot of owners, but I thought that there are some members that could use it.

The other day when driving by our local Case dealer the thought came to me that just maybe they use our faithful Cummins engines in some of their equipment. Viola! I hit pay dirt! I purchased (2) Cummins Fleetguard StrataPore #LF3894 oil filters for $7. 92 ea.

The parts man said that they have a “almost” complete line of Cummins repair parts.

There's an International dealer in N Texas where I get all my filters. They are a Fleetguard distributor and are fantastic to deal with. A guy in our local chapter told me about them when we were doing the BHAF thing. They had the best price so I checked their prices on our other filters as well. They were about the same and in some cases better priced on our fuel and oil filters. They started stocking the BHAF, AH19037, and the 2K+ fuel filters just becuase I was buying mine there. If you're in N TX its Southwest International in McKinney.

We have a Case-IH dealer here in Lawrence, KS. I've used their "Micro-Loc Ultra" oil filter on my 97 12 valve for years. It's a Fleetguard Stratapore painted black. PN J934430. It's about 10 bucks now. 190k & no problems so far.

I buy my Fleetguard Stratapore filters at the local Peterbilt shop. The price was about $7. 60 or so the last time I bought some. Don't remember the exact price.
