Just got in my truck to come to class and with the lights on and the inside map lamp on, the brightness on the lamp and the headlights was fluctuating between dim and bright? The alt. guage was moving between a hair over 14 amps to a hair under. Now on my previous gassers this was a good indication the alternator was going south! Is this S. O. P. with the diesel?

Never noticed this before so its got me a little worried. The truck only has 10. 5K on it and is just at 1 1/2 years old!

Any ideas?

Right on the money

Yeah Guys it was our first really cool evening this fall! I think I remember seeing the temp on the overhead console at 62 degrees. The lights did not flicker after I drove it for awhile:D .

Once again TDR to the rescue - Thanks fellas

Dave
