Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Alternator Gone!!

Lost all power to the batteries. Could not start the beast. Quite depressing not hearing that roar on start up. Had to replace the alternator at 295,000km. Oh well. As long as the beast keeps on running...



Any other problems out there with the alternator???

Nothing about the alternator. Just a friendly Hello from another TDR member while in your town. Doing some over hauls on some over passes through our Alberta division. Talk about hot weather. 300k km sounds pretty good out of an altenator Cheers,

I agree 295,000 on an alternator isn't bad at all.

I got 225,00 out of one on a ford van.
