2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Alternator mounting bracket source.

Well, while working on the wife's new 98 12V today I noticed the alt. mounting bracket that bolts to the thermostat housing is broke. Not cracked, but broke with a 2" gap between both front and back sides.



I don't see how I missed that when buying, or how the belt is staying tight.



Anyone got a spare off a junk engine, or have a good source for parts you can share.

Hmm... I found a link to an alt bracket... but I dont think its the right one. . -But- if you email this guy, he can probably get you a correct one thru his sources. . Good luck. .

Jerry, thanks for the quick help, however you're right. That's the bottom bracket, need the top one.



I did look at that guys other stuff. He has lots of Dodge Cummins parts. Looks to be a salvage yard.
