The jacks that HF carries are likely sold under numerous brand names. That's today's marketplace.

That said, I have an HF 2.5 ton aluminum jack t hgv ats about 5 yrs old and it's been solid as a rock. No problem lifting my 03 at any corner or rear.

Like DavidC said, looks almost identical to the HF 3 ton aluminum floor jack...it is likely made in the same factory from he same parts with a different label attached --

That said, specs and shipping weight shows that it weighs even 6# LESS then the one from HF

In addition to the weight difference the Arcan is longer and narrower. I think I like the shorter -wider stance of the HF. I dropped by my local HF to take a look at the HF unit and it is pretty robust.

Huge shout out for Harbor Freight! They just sent out this email:

They have decided to donate all their N95 masks, gloves and face shields to local hospitals. They obviously could have made a killing on these items so really cool that they have put our healthcare workers before their profits. I just went down and purchased the 3 ton aluminum floor jack!

Another huge shout for out healthcare workers! I see no distinction between dodging bullets or dodging this virus while being on the front lines. I have family members in the medical field and they deserve our utmost respect during these trying times!

Yup. That’s great. However, that puts essential service folks like me in a pickle. See, all the PPE stuff I am assigned (and need) was sucked back into the system for the “front line” and now I can’t even buy my own because there isn’t any to be had at HF.
