2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Always heading west?????

I've got a 99 QCSB with the overhead computer which is stuck in a west bearing, I tried doing the recommended reset of the compass by driving in a circle @ suggested speed to reset the factory compass but it wont reset. I tried clockwise and counter-clockwise. Any suggestions?

Do you have any magnetic accessories in the cab? Is there a chance the roof has been magnetized by anything; magnetic CB antenna mount?

None that i'm aware of. I dont see any signs of where a magnetic mount was used. I bought this truck used. It is pretty much stock.

Mine did that once, but it undid itself. Was stuck on north for a few hours. Never figured out why, and hasn't done it since.
