I have an old ASC100 antenna splitter that lets you run a CB road on your AM/FM factory antenna. So my issue is how do I find the AM/FM antenna connection in the dash. looking at pictures of the base, it appears that it's cable is not long enough to reach all the way to the radio, and there is a pigtail hanging off the radio that meets up with the antenna lead somewhere on the right side of the dash. I believe it may be behind the upper glove box. Does that upper glove box liner pull out easily for a look around back there? I popped the lower glove box off and do not believe the cable is down there. Snoking

Yes the upper box comes out pretty easy, I remove both when I install the cabin filter, you need both remove when cutting the HVAC plastic box to install the cabin filter, there is quite a lot of wiring in that area some goes through the firewall into engine compartment. I install on my 1500 and 3500 trucks.

I found and removed the retaining screw via the lower box, however I could not get the up box liner to pop out. seems maybe there are clips that snap in place? SNOKING

When I remove the upper door I open the box and remove four 7mm bolts that hold door on, there is one 7mm bolt from the backside of the compartment and push outward to release the six spring clips.

Well I found the antenna junction connection behind the passengers kick panel. It is however a newer style connector and is not going to work with the old splitter that I have. SNOKING
