I bought the "heater treater" piece for my 02 2500 and was going through the process of installing it. The intermediate piece between the blend door and the actuator, that is supposed to be replaced, is actually still OK, in one piece, and I can move the blend door by hand quite easily. So I opened up the actuator, and there are two bent copper strips near the two teminals on the motor itself. This is my problem. If I bend the copper strips to make contact with the terminals is this:
1. the way it is supposed to be and I can change my temp settings again?
2. not the way it works and some weird voodoo electricity god is going to zap something else more expensive like a CPU or something?

Please help out and electrical retard.

Never mind....

So I bit the bullet and tried it. Nothing happened including the blend door actuator not working. Off to the Dodge dealer tomorrow.
