2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Am I missing a part on this tow mirror swap?

Studs are really long and of course not enough thread for the nut to go up to the door, looks there needs to be some kind of spacer or something.

There is a reinforcement plate that is used with the tow mirrors that goes against the inside skin of the door, this should have come with the '02 and under tow mirrors if you bought them as a kit from Dodge.
