I am running a II 62/14 turbo, DD2 injectors, PDR street cam, mildly ported head w/ rings. I currently have a #10 plate but am thinking I should have more power. Being a 180 pump, should I be going eith a #6 or #8 instead. I am only grossing #13,900 and seems to be under powered on the long 6% grades around here

I believe you would benefit from a hotter plate. A #6 plate should be mild/efficient with all the modifications you have done. I run a #6 plate with less modifications and I love it. I have less smoke then I did stock. Egts are low as well. If your ATS exh manifold was as rough as mine, I would do some smoothing and porting. Mine needed massive amounts of material removed. There were pockets of obstructive material that took me hours to remove. A fuel pump advance would also gain you a few free horses. What gear ratio are you running. I currently have 3. 55 gears which are way too tall for 35 inch tires. In order to put you back in your power band, I would go to 4. 10s. If your truck is primarily used for towing or off road, 4. 56 would be better. Just remember, with 4. 56, your top speed and fuel milage will suffer. If you tow very heavy, lower gears will actually improve fuel milage. I plan on going with 4. 10 gears. Your truck has some nice mods. Good luck

A bigger plate is always a good idea. With your mods you should be ok and you can always move the plate in the pump or put the old one back in.
