Anyone else using Amazon Prime Music? I started using it recently since it is included with the price of your Amazon Membership. I'm now hooked on this thing. I have dozens of albums in my library that I stream almost all day. Highly recommended for any other music junkies out there.

Currently on my month's free trial of Amazon Prime. Hadn't even checked out the music yet. Is it downloadable / saveable without any drama like the cursed, wretched Apple i-tunes???

99% of what I have used it for is to live stream music from the free prime library (included in the Amazon membership).

I have purchased some of the music as downloads that I have saved and transferred to my phone and sd cards. It's extremely easy to use. It comes in simple MP3 format.

Just touched it off, have a station playing now. Looks easy enough, plus I can play music offline on my Droid. That may push me over the edge to drop the Sirius. They pi**ed me off when they moved Road Trip Radio to 301. I don't have a vehicle with a tuner that goes that high. I wrote them about it, never heard back.

I probably have 48 free albums in my Amazon library at this point. Most of them are Chicago, Earth Wind and Fire, Don Williams, Hank Jr. etc. I'm not stuck 30 years ago or anything.

Right now, I'm streaming the soundtrack from Charlie Brown Christmas. :)

Thanks for the heads up on this, I sucked a few tunes into the Droid last night. Tried playing them this morning on the way to work with the data turned off, Voila!!! Success!!! I am impressed.

Quality audio, equal or better than the factory Sirius on Hoopty's radio. Used the aux in and cabled it. And all of the songs were at no charge. (I did pass on the Air Supply offerings)

I have been using Amazon Prime music but mainly on the TV when using the Amazon Fire Stick. We have the prime membership but it can be a curse or blessing also. I keep finding packages and charges in the charge bill for items that the DW needs, it is way to easy for her. We can sit and watch some TV and when football games are on she has her I-pad open and there goes the Amazon orders.

With the Fire Stick you can upload pictures from your phone or computer to a different version of the I-cloud and than watch the pictures on your TV while playing music in the background from the play list on Amazon. Between this and Pandora I see no need for Sirius at all.

P.S. I also listen too all of the above music + Foreigner along with songs from the early 60's and even some from the 50's; Such as I get Around, Be True to Your School and Speedo to name a few.

Good to know that I'm not the only one with good taste in music.

79 songs downloaded into the Droid so far. Found a remastered copy of "Crazy Train" and the Randy Rhoads guitar work is so clear it will stand the hair up on the back of your neck.

I remain impressed!!

Awesome. I'm happy you are finding it useful. Now you need to set up your phone to your radio via bluetooth so you don't have to worry about the wires and you can control it hands free.

Hoopty's factory Bluetooth will handle voice but not music. And a stereo upgrade is not a pleasant project on that particular car.

I do need to replace the OEM sub woofer as "Gold Digger" just stresses it to no end.

I almost downloaded "All Out Of Love" by Air Supply last night in your honor....but my finger simply would not press the download icon........:D....It just kind of hung in the air twitching....

I got a small adapter that plugs in to the AUX jack on the radio that receives the bluetooth signal from the phone. Then, I can run my phone in car mode and change music via voice. It was some generic brand adapter I found at Walmart. Less than $20.

My favorite is Air Supply hit is Every Woman in the World. But, I digress.

I'll check that out. Hadn't seen it. Usually in Wally World for just as short a time as is humanly possible.........

And if anyone is a Cheap Trick fan there is a live cut of "Ain't That A Shame, Live At Budokan" that is just intense.

The head unit in my new van allows you to control the phone and music via the steering wheel buttons. I'm sure that all of the new media systems in the cars now are the same, but in works darn slick in the MB.

I have been thinking about dumping AT&T U-Verse, for Cable (I had DirecTV, but my HOA aka Gestapo said I had to take down my satellite dish, even after it was on my balconey for over 10 years, I complained about some thing and they had to fix it and then they started their crap:mad: ) and about dumping Sirius/XM Radio. How many of you use Amazon Prime Music and what do you play it on? Basically MP3 Players? Also for Amazon Fire does it work good with a medium speed internet connection or do I need to upgrade my internet speeds.

You can live stream Amazon Prime music on any wifi device such as a phone, tablet, etc. As Mike is doing, you can also download you selected music as an mp3 to any device.
