The torque spec will be in the paper work, I believe it's 30 ft/pds. I was quite amazed that the dip stick has a magnet in the center of it too (within the body of the dip stick). When I checked the fluid and found grey stuff half way up the stick. Kinda like a floating filter. From what I read the proper fluid level is half way between the axle tube and the axle shaft. The Mag Hytec dip stick has a line for this level as well. It's about 7.5 quarts. These covers are a great investment.

Thanks for the info. I bought the afe (with sight glass) for the rear and saved a few bucks. Now wishing I had sprung a few more bucks for the Mag Hytec. Haven't made a decision on the front yet. Anyone know if Mag Hytec's for the front (several redesigns) have different model #'s???? Or did they produce some that interfere with steering linkage that have the same model # as th e redesigned that don't?

I will be following the torque specs on paperwork. But I was curious aabout OEM torque specs since there is no paperwork on that. I know I'm supposed to use a cross pattern when tightening a little torque at a time then cross to another bolt.

IMHO the front would be a complete waste of $$$. Unless you are just wanting to look COOL!

I removed my MagHytec from my 11 HO Dually. I have been told it would not fit my 15 with 4.10's and Factory Rear Air. Anyone know why this won't work?

Not wanting any special look. They don't make a sight glass or dipsrick for the OEM that I am aware of. I have a bit of weep on one of my rear seals. I was hoping to replace with a sight glass or dipstick model with slightly higher capacity because of the weeping on one side. and wanted to have both (front & rear) with easy checkability and sligjtly higher lubricant capacity so it never runs dry.
