New NTSB report

Hey guys,my brother will be on TV tonight. He works for Orange County Choppers down the road from us. He builds the custome motorcycles there along with Paul ,and the rest of the crew. The show is Amercian Choppers, its on at 10PM ET and its on the Discovery Channel. My brother is Vinny DiMartino, you'll see a lot more of him in future epsidoses .

OC Choppers eh...

They are about as legendary out east as Jesse James is out West. They do build some custom and righteous looking rides also. Will set my vcr to tape it. Never knew he'd be the TV star before you Snow Man,LOL... ... ... ... . Andy

They build some nice bikes but i could not stand to work in that hostile environment. Father and son should be happy to have each other, my father died when I was 7.

isn't this the one where they build the bike the looks like a fighter plane? It's an awsome bike with a **** load of detail work on the paint.

Morph.

I just got done watching the show. All i can say is I am jelous of your brother a bit. I wish I had a job that was even half as cool as his. The father and son could suck it up a bit and get along better but hey no job is perfect. I really don't understand why they aren't happier they could be doing worse things for money. The spider web bike is sweet. Can't wait to watch it next week. Thanks for the heads up.

Chris

Vinnie was cool... I didn't see this thread until after the show. Hey, I know that guy... that's one of those DiMartinos!

As for father and son, they're doing better than the jet fighter motif bike.

They seem to be a lot respectful of each other... gotta have some drama for a show. The two of them driving into each other was just outrageous!

Hey Snow Man, can I have your autograph?

Matt

John,

I remembered you telling me about that. I watched it and I could tell who your brother was instantly!

I saw the show last night and when they had a little title that said... "Vinny DiMartino" All I could say is: "Hey! We got some Italian's in the shop now..... hey!"

He looked like a good goombah..... he's good people. :)

Matt

Timetable

It is funny, but when your doing something fun for a living, something always comes in to mess it up, like timetables. I think Dad is wound a little tight, and junior a little loose, just age and responsibility. Can't wait for retirement so I can have a fun job... . NO timetables!!!!!:D

Snowman,

Paul sr. seems like he would be real tough to work for. Nothing his son does pleases him. If he's not complaining about something, he ain't happy. :D

Yeah the father and son go at it, kind of like my Dad an I used to when I worked in the family auto-repair business. Thing is we would always be at each other at work, but not outside of work. It worked fine for us that way, as it seems to work well for them also. Seems to me that Paul Sr. definitley has pride in what his son and the rest of the crew does. Reminds me of a machinist I know. He BPM;s the entire time during a project, but the end result is beyond desscription.

The bumper incident was hilarious. OK, nice gently pull to straighten it... ...

I watched it the second time last night.

Pop is a bit testy but overall I think they do okay. Could you work side by side with your pop? I think it may be that pop is a bit envious of his sons abilities at times. Tomorrow night we get to see the finished product.

Are you guys serious? Am I the only one that finds this show hilarious? This is my new favorite TV show, those two guys make me LMAO!! Not to mention they incredible bikes! If they got along, the show would be sorta boring.

I may say this cause I have the same type of relationship with one of my uncles, when working together we fight like crazy, constantly butting heads, people think we're about to kill each other, it's just the way we are, freinds in the end though, it's kinda comical... ... ... ... I think.

Later, Rob

Anyone else catch the finished bike out last night? Pretty nice!

PS, I just admire the work and things that go fast. As far as me and bikes, they scare me. I have enough trouble balancing four wheels. (That's why I like my training wheels).

Yeah, that thing couldn't have turned out any better. I do agree with them the seat wasn't all that impressive though but hey I'd take it:cool:

Snow Girl ( :-laf ): Tell your brother Vinny to throw out all his used blue rubber gloves that he leaves all over the place. Paul Sr. threw a hissy fit on the show last night... . :-laf

I was glued to the TV Labor day watching Vinny & the "American Chopper" marathon.

I liked the episode where they brought the Comanche Bike to North Carolina to show it and the oil pump gear seized on the shaft.

Vinny kept telling the welder to "be careful of the paint". Then the guy hits the frame with the hammer.

I couldn't turn away. I was hooked.

Same Here HEMI. I think I saw every episode.

I've been watching it since it first ran, so most of the episodes were re-runs for me. That Comanche bike is my favorite so far.

It would be cool to check out the shop while I'm up there.
