Miserable performance by the NBA weenies, they ought to go back to the old rules and bar pro players, at least the college athletes still remember how to play as a team.



Looks like our fellows spent too much time watching sneaker commercials and humping cheerleaders, the Argentinans must have actually spent some time PRACTICING. IMHO, they desperately need to change basketball by raising the goals about 3 feet higher, it would make for a much more interesting game of skill than just watching a bunch of 7-footers lumbering around the court and jumping up to poke their hand in the bucket. Argentina showed once again that the team which can reliably put the ball through the hoop from a distance is tough to beat...

i caught the last few minutes of the game, and argintine played real good... and the final basket by them sealing the deal with just seconds left... very nice... good luck to the americans in getting a bronze metal [who are they playing for the bronze anyways?]
