I read somewhere on TDR or on the net that AMSOIL lubricants actually lower the temperature in the differential by 20-30 degrees? I can't seem to find the article or webs ite. For those who use it, or know the products, is this true? Thanks!
I had my rear diff cked by a professional to see if the level was correct on the fluid. . and the dealer actually did it perfectly!!! I'm amazed... . Now I wonder if the seal will hold... slight seepage. . ????
Amsoil has two 'grades' of their gear lube... . the more expensive being called "Series 2000"... . Wondering which one people are using, and why. . The Series 2000 is about 20% more expensive.
I think what Amsoil means is that it will reduce differential temps compared to traditional dyno diff fluid. All 03's and plus have synthetic already installed, I doubt if you would see any difference.
My personal preference is Mobil 1 75/90 synthetic by the way.
