AMSOIL air filter for 1st gens yet?

Is there a air filter for my 92 turbo yet? I was wanting one and was patiently waiting, and I can't stand it no more..... If there is one can somebody give me the part#..... Thanks! B. J.

3dracer, I'm not sure if K&N or Amsoil make a replacement filter or not however, I KNOW Banks does (I have seen this filter before). The Banks filter element is either made by or designed by K&N as they appear to be identical ('93 and prior).

If you are interested and can't find the filter locally, give Mike at The PowerShop (Enumclaw, WA) a call (at: 1-800-835-8839). I'm sure he would be more than happy to supply you with the Banks replacement filter element.

I'm unable to obtain the Amsoil part number (if there is a listing for your application) at this time.

I do not know if Amsoil makes one or not, but K&N definitly does. I bought the K&N at Autozone for my 1992 last year. They did not stock it in the store at that time,but promised delivery in two days. They thought it was in stock at their warehouse about 100 miles away but it was not and they picked up the two day air shipping cost from K&N's factory in California.
I do not remember the part number and I just went out to the garage to see if I had kept the box, but I did not find it.
The price when I bought mine was about $63. 00-$65. 00.

92 D250 Auto Trans-Currently stock except for TCI special torque convertor. Now adding 16cm turbo housing, complete 4" exhaust, tachometer, pyrometer, and transmission temperature gauge. Injectors in the near future.
Also have 1984 Volvo D260 with inline 6 diesel made by Volkswagen.

According to my Amsoil catalog the DO indeed have a filter for your truck. But I do not know if it is their 2 stage foam filter like the one I have:

I would give Amsoil a call at (715) 392-7101. I know they have a 800 number but I can't find it right now #ad

3dracer, bigkid59 is correct, K&N does make an air filter element for the '89-'93 Cummins powered Rams... part #E-1023. D. I. S. (Diesel Injection Service) has this filter listed for $64. 03 I don't know how this would compare to others however, I've always found D. I. S. to have the lowest prices. D. I. Thanks for the #. I already have a K&N but I want an Amsoil though. I like the two stage with the foam around the cotton filter. I have an uncle that is a dealer but he hasn't gotten his new books yet. Thanks though for the help..... B. J.
