came with some fairly stiff, plastic 3/8" ( ?? ) plastic tubing. Where can we get more? Home Depot, etc carry it? Went to Napa and they didnt have what I wanted. What other options?

Napa gave me about 6' of 3/8 plastic tubing that is fairly flimsy. When inserted into the dipstick tube it goes most the way, then hits something that seems to prevent it from entering the oils pan. The stiffer tubing seems to make it past that. anyways it pumps air and when I remove the tube its dry ( mostly ). then end is not covered like it went into the pan.

SlyBones try cutting the end of the tubbing that goes into dipstik at about a 15 degree angle . that helps it get past obstructions, twist and push good luck

I think the restriction is coming from where the dip-stick tube attatches to the engine. Like mentioned, cut an angle on the end. I think Home Depot or a hardware store would be the best place to find replacement tubing. They usually carry various types and sizes of tubing and hose on bulk spools.

Slybones,

Why don't you order the replacement hose from Amsoil? The number is G-1571, and comes 25 ft.
