Amsoil and the NV5600

Anyone towing using Amsoil 3k series 5W30 in their 6 speed?
Does it affect shifting at all?
I had heard it wasn't compatible with the syncros... ...

I've had it in mine for over 89K now and no problems. Probably should be changeing it.
