I am Planning to change to Amsoil ATF. You members that have changed do You see a noticable differance in the transmission performance?

Works for me

My first transmission lasted 18K. I have 87K on this one, all with Amsoil. My oil analysis has been great, and I have no complaints about the way the transmission works.

The biggest thing I've noticed is improved fuel mileage. I have 98000 miles on my transmission and no problems. Of course, it might have made it to 200,000 miles without, so that really doesn't mean anything.

Amsoil Universal synthetic ATF

Several NW BOMBers I have "sold" Amsoil ATF to have reorted back that it reduces shift harshness. I can't really comment on this myself as I had Bill K. and DTT fill my transmission with Amsoil synthetic ATF at the time of my transmission enhancement. To me, the extra protection is definitely worth the investment.

I switched over to Amsoil Universal ATF @ 1000 mile DTT www.dieseltrans.com filter service.



2nd best investment so far. Man does my transmission run cool.



Towed 10K 5er to Rushmore and back and transmission temp was always around 150 max (sender in hot line to cooler)
