Noises when the transmission started to go???

I know its not a Cummins But it is Cool

I was changing the oil in the rear end of my truck, when it came time to fill it back up I was going to use a suction gun,but I find them messy. Looking at the neck of the bottle it looked as though it might be the same size as the extension part of this cheap 2-piece funnel . Sure enogh the bottle screwed right on!I just lifted the whole works up like an I. V. bag and took a knife and poked thebottle to let air in. With the price of Amsoil you dont want to spill a drop. Most of you guys probably do something similar but maybe it might help someone

Try the Amsoil oil fill hand pump. it is designed to fit the amsoil bottles and gallon and 2. 5 gallon jugs. and it costs $11. 10 and Amsoil part # is G-2039. also comes with a length of clear hose. no waste. I use mine all the time for diffs and trannys. Works great. let your dealer know you want one.

They are these two piece funnelsthat the top part is a large short funnel such as what you would use to put engine oil in the truck. The bottom piece is a long accordian styled piece wityh a smaller hole for say, addind ATF into the dipstick hole. The two pieces screw together to form one long funnel. Harder to explain than to actually see one, sorry not savvy enough with computer to post a picture. Just have a look at them in probably any hardware.

I use one of these to service my Differential and Transmission. It is cheap and it works great ;) Just cut the tip of the sprayer. You can put 5 quarts in it and just pump it up and go. :)

I just use a bucket pump on a 5 gal pail. Gear oil is $35 for 5 gallons. I use enough that it's worth it for me.

I keep several of the Amsoil hand pumps in the garage. One for ATF, one for gear lube, one for Manual Transmissions (5 and 6 spd). Makes things much easier and cleaner. Also, I have found that if you pull off the tip (out of the hose) it is much easier to pump. I even use it when I overhaul transmissions or do transmission services. The Mag Hytec pans hold a lot of oil. I just grab a 2. 5 gal jug and pump. Much easier and less mess.
