Going with better fuel filtration...need a FASS or Walbro?

FASS installed are these the readings I should see?

did you do anything to prevent air leaking out of the intake when you drill the 3 holes in it ?

Looks good though. Are those hydraulic hoses you used on it or do they come with the kit ?

Put some anti-aerobic sealer on the threads. The lines came with the kit.

from the top of the oil filter housing. We just removed the plug and replaced it with the fittings for the line.

looks good

Looks like a BMK-11 kit. I put mine on the other side since its a 9712v.

Nice job! You`ll notice your oil will be cleaner in a day or two.

where did u get the cool aluminum oil filler cap/return? I modified a stock one about 5 years ago when I did my by pass and have never really been 100% satisfied with the look of it.

Looks good although I'm not sure about drilling holes in the intake to mount it. Personally I don't think I would drill into my intake. Maybe I'm not that gutsy.

The Intake has a good 3/8 inch thickness to it in that area. We was not sure about doing it until we done it. The bolts are 3/8 x 16 and held 40 ft/lbs of torque with no sings of pulling threads. Sometimes you have to be gutsy to get it done.

Like I told jh8128, I don't have a dime in his truck so it did not bother me at all to drill into it. :-laf Jusr kidding.

Oh... OK thats where I pulled the supply from as well, in your picture the supply hose is routed in the opposite direction from the filter but must obviously wind its way back... thats why I asked... thought you had found a different supply port.

i checked Amsoil's site and they say that the filler cap is for 2004 and up. Anyone know if they filler caps are the same type/size threads on a 2001 as they are on a 2004/up? Cant imagine they would be different, but never know.

Thanks

The "Billit" Aluminum cap from Amsoil will fit ANY 24V Engine. (BK-1301) YOu will also need a 90 deg. JIC fitting (BP-242)
