Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Amsoil bypass kit problem....whinning

I recently installed an Amsoil dual bypass kit in my 97 ram 2500 w/ 5. 9 Cummings. After install i now have a whinning sound comming from the Turbo side of the motor. I ran the hoses to down the fender well and to the frame where I mounted the kit. it is about a 6 foot run down and 6 foot run back to the motor. no leaks or problems besides this whinning. It happens up to 60 mph then goes away. its very anoying. today I wrapped the hoses in insulation but that didn't help. Screwed down the air cleaner box but no fix. Any suggestions would be appretiated.

I've had mine on for 4 years and thats the first I've heard of that. A whine, huh. The only thing I would think of is the distance the oil is having to travel, or possibly a tight bend in the line. The only thing I had trouble with is a leak with the adapter at the oil filter mount. CPFF's fix got rid of that.

From what I understand the noise is coming from the filter head I think. I figure its an orifice or check valve or something in there doing it. Some do it and some don't. Many have removed their duel remote setup because of either the whine or lowered oil pressure and installed a single bypass, which is what I went with in the beginning as I see no need in moving the full flow filter.

Well, i tried covering the hoses in insulation thinking if it is vibrating on something it nwould go away, nope. it is hitting the battery box but does not go away when you move it, plus the insulation is there. I listened further and I feel as though it is coming from the airbox. i think it is vibrating in the airbox or turbo hose. Could it be restricting the turbo oil line? its getting really annoying... ..... !!!!!!! I also don't recall any check valves in the fitting besides the dual housing. This is an older kit, could it be different from a new one?

I was just thinking that it could be the 90 degree fittings that I used to go from the filter adapter. should I be using the 90 degree fittings or what should i use?

I don't even know if there are any check valves in the duel remote setup as I have never seen one. I was just making a guess. I don't think the 90's are causing a problem as I have them on mine and have no noise at all but then again mine is flowing only a small amount of oil through a . 040 orifice so who knows.
