I have seen the bmk11 and bf90. They look similar. The bf90 appears to be the same thing only an older model.

Does anyone know what the differences are between the two and would the bf90 work on my truck? I am thinking about changing from the dual filters w/bypass to the single bypass in order to raise my oil pressure.

Thanks in advance.

The dual remote filter set will not affect your oil pressure if it does something is wrong. Check out my readers rigs I have a pic of how I mounted mine.

I have run the dual bypass for more than 3 years and have read maybe half a dozen threads just on this subject. Its not just me and it seems to be common knowledge that the dual remote filters reduce the oil pressure whereas the single does not. I am assuming the long small oil supply lines supply the resistance to flow oil enough to lower the indicated pressure on the oil pressure guage but I noticed mine lowered as soon as I put it on. !0-15 pounds if I remember right.

The single bypass filter only draws a small quantity of oil and since the regular oil filter site is still used the oil pressure would not be affected.

I was just wondering if anyone knows what the difference is between the bf90 and bmk11.
