Twins are going in soon and I need to find a new home for my Amsoil dual bypass system. I was thinking of mounting it on the passenger side frame rail about 1 foot forward of the rear leaf spring mount. Can't move it any farther forward due to my compressor tank being in the next best location. If I mounted it there the hoses would be over 12' long  My concern is can the oil pump handle that additional distance?

Thanks for the PM Rick. Removing the passenger side battery and installing the filters in its place is a good option. A bit costly since I just replace both my batteries. I would have to get a high cranking amp replacement battery if I wound up going that route. I'm still wondering if the 12' long hoses would be a problem though???

Behind the bumper

I mounted a single bypass behind the bumper. Mounts nicely to the crossmember ... horizontally above the sway bar

what mess

No problem with the mess . . same pan that catches the oil at the drain plug can catch the oil at the filter. Unscrew filter enough to let canister drain then remove to change element. less mess than trying balance a canister full of oil

I mounted mine under the fan shroud on the crossmember. It really makes changing them a breeze.

That would be a great idea if some smart ??? didn't mount 24" of horn up there !!!! :-laf
