Does any one know the efficiency rating of the 4090 Amsoil ea cone filter-looked on their site but can't find the rating.

Yeah, there are no specs on their site for it. They filter very well, if thats what your looking for, and provide low silicon numbers. I have heard they filter down to 1 micron with excellent efficency, don't know how true that is, but the dry technology is excellent. Had one on my truck for almost two years now. Just picked up 6080 for my cousin's 06 to use with his mac intake. Two things I don't like about the amsoil filter, their is no wire screen on the inside to help the element keep its shape, and the end of the filter just has a stainless steel cap instead of being indented and have more filter material added to it.

I have had mine on for a year and have not seen any dust-but just want to know how it compares to the stock filter which I think is 99. 5% eff. rating.

Update- Talked to a lady at Amsoil tech line and she said all nano-fiber filters are rated to 99. 5% effi.

99. 5% efficient at what micron??

I thought they were rated down in the single digits... 98. 6% @ 1 micron comes to mind?????

I am not sure- may have to call back and get more info.

Anybody know what the factory filter is rated at down to 1 micron?

Just want to be sure the amsoil filter is as good.
