Howdy all,
I plan on switching from Delo 400 over to Amsoil when Godzilla hits about 20K miles, and will likely switch transmission and diff lubes to Amsoil also. I know that for something like $20 I can become a "dealer" myself, and therefore purchase Amsoil products at a discount. I think I'll be putting at most 15K miles a year on my truck, changing oil at maybe 10K with a filter change at 5K miles, will use the standard SDF80 filter - not planning on going to the bypass filtration system. Maybe change transmission and diff lubes every 50K miles just for piece of mind. Rarely ever tow anything, don't haul much (except a$$
#ad
) mainly a commuter truck.
So, knowing all that, I'm interested in the opinions of those of you who use and/or "deal" Amsoil. Would it be best to place my orders from one of the TDR members who is a dealer, or just become my own dealer?
Thanks for your opinions,
Tom
