I am new to the TDR and diesels. I have been using Redline oil since 1977 with great results. I am thinking of switching to Amsoil due to cost and availability in my area. Can anyone supply me with the correct Amsoil product #s for a 2001 6 speed w/HO Cummins? I would like to know:
a) Engine oil
b) transmission oil
c) Transfer case oil
d) Front Diff oil
e) Rear diff oil
f) Air filter

Thanks!

(a) Engine oil =Either the Series 3000 5W-30, Stock # HDD or the 15W-40 Stock #AME oils. If you want Gallons, you simply add a 04 to the Stock numbers. If you want Qts. you add a 01 to the stock numbers. The 04 will give you 4ea. 1 Gallon containers. The 01 would give you 12 individualQuart containers. A QT at the end would give you 1 individual Quart container.

(b) transmission oil=The series 3000 HDD 5W-30 oil would be the one to choose.
(c) Transfer case oil=ATF oil. Stock #ATF. Just add Qt. to it for individual qts.
(d) Front Diff oil=Gear lube. 75W-90 Series 2000 Stock #TGR Just add Qt to the end to get Quarts. A 01 would give you 12 quarts.
(e) Rear diff oil=Gear oil. Same as above.
(f) Air filter=Stock # TS-106.

Hope this helps.
