The AMSOIL that was getting sucked out looked OK, but then again it was only 3,000 miles old. I didn't want to see what was inside. . LOLOLOL Since it only did it when turning corners and pulling, and had only done it for a short time, I figured it was OK. When I called my dealer he said " When it breaks, we'll fix it" We can't slap on new parts just cause". . SO thats what I am doing. I have 85,000 more miles of warranty. If she quits, they fix it. . But since putting in the valvoline, PERFECT... . not grinding what so ever. I used to have a "Howl" between 65-70 MPH... now that quit too! Very nice!

When I filled it, I brought it right up to the upper of the two marks, figuring replacing what had drained out from the axle tubes would likely bring it down a bit. Today I drove it around for 10 or 15 miles, including a few figure 8's in a parking lot. Now the dipstick (I love having that) shows exactly midway between the HI and the LO marks. Interestingly, the dipstick's magnet had gathered a little ring of powder, presumable washed from the interior of the diff. I guess I should check and clean it periodically. Hopefully after a few 'washes' it will stop showing up...
