Amsoil Synthetic motor oil---What weight?

Kevin I can not comment on the fuel mileage effects as i have not been at all conisitent while running it. My mods have gone from stock though a series of bombing steps.



I have been very happy with the 5w30 series 3000 except the price and amount I mist out the breather



I do run a dual bypass set up and have 23+k miles on this oil. The new sample went out a couple days ago and i don't have the results back yet.



I also run the series 3000 in the transmission and series 2000 75w90 in both diffs

Not much. The current oil was installed Jan 1999 and as of today it only has 24,833 miles. For the past 2 yrs I have lived a hop, skip and jump from work... so mileage has been way down. I have been sending in an oil sample around every 6 mos when I change the full-flow filter (monitoring oil closley due to short trip driving) and from looking at the mileages I've been averaging arond 2500-2700 miles/year for the past 2 years. Whenever opportunity arises I'll take a short trip on the highway, but it's not often (mainly because I HATE battling traffic around here!!!)
