Amsoil Trans fluid question?

This is a question for all you oilmen(or women), if Dexron is not good for our auto transmissions, how can a synthetic version of Dexron be ok now, when just a few months ago we needed to buy a special version of Amsoil just for our trucks? Amsoil has done away with the +4 that I put in my trans, now I need to find out what to use in a few more months when it needs to be changed.

Hi Caleb, Amsoil was able to engineer a synthetic ATF to meet ALL performance criteria specified by all major manufacturers. According to Amsoil the new ATF is certified for use in the 47REs and all prior derivatives.

Just like John said, the new stuff meets all the criteria required by the major manufacturers. Check out the label or the specifications online at amsoil.com.
I have about 10 qts of the +4 left, but you can have it if you really have to have that. When it's gone, I'll be using the new stuff.
