What Amsoil do you guys recommend? Ive been using the Rotella t but I hear Amsoil is a better way to go? Should I go with the Synthetic Blend or the Fully Synthetic? I have a '99 2500 Auto Trans, stock other than muffler elimination.

Although I haven't switched yet, IMHO go full synthetic or stay with conventional oil. When I do switch, I plan to change oil at 7500 miles, which is the recommend change interval with conventional oil. I don't see how this could cause any problems. That would be about 2 oil changes / year for me.

I believe that amsoil is a great product but is too expensive to change as often as regular oil. Try doing an oil analysis at 6000 miles and changing filter at that time and see what anyalsis says about when to change plus any problems in the engine can be seen in the oil repeort.
