Just installed the SRT-10 hood on my 04. 5. Wow! The fit was perfect, as you'd suspect being a Chrysler accessory part, and it's quite distinctive in appearance. Can't wait to tool around.

hey since we are all waiting around for the pics... Heres a question for you all...

Do you think a 2500 4x4 would look (dumb/stupid/out-of-place/just plain ********) with the srt-10 bumper?

Nick

Personally, I like the hood, might get one for my 3500, but I would only put the SRT bumper on a sport truck, ie: 2WD. It's aerodynamic properties just get in the way on a 4x4 IMO. But, to each his own. :)

Could we have some more info about that valve cover please. :D

I purchased a new factory valve cover from the dealer (cost about $60). I purchased a new one because the original one has all of the VIN info, HP info, etc. , and I wanted to keep it in case I ever sold the truck. I then had the valve cover sanded completely smooth with the exception of the cummins "C". We then primed the entire valve cover, wet sanded it, and painted it with the flames you see. I am very happy with the results. It is holding up very well, and is easy to wipe clean. We used House of Color paint and PPG clear. There are two more pictures from the sides in my readers gallery.

Now the important question...

How long before you route the intake for your BHAF to the scoop. That and post pictures of the conversion so we can do the same thing.
