An Observation

Has anyone else noticed that the blue oval and the bow tie both have to hide the manufacturer of their respective diesel engines behind a fancy name thought up be some advertising agency.

.

On the other had most other diesels are referred to by their manufacture, i. e. , Cat, Detroit, Cummins.



I wonder what kind of "ad agency" type name we can come up with for the mighty Cummins ISB?

There is advertising on our trucks. Cummins has such a fine reputation that just having the name on our trucks is advertising enuff. Hard for an ad agency to come with a better name than that.

You can't help but think Ferd and Chubby must be a little ashamed of their Diesels if they have to give them hyped-up names



If Madison Ave. had named the Cummins maybe they would have called it

I dunno... Bluesteel Six?

They did. Super B and Killer B



Too bad the 24V does'nt fit the years for the Killer B. That's a killer (no pun intended) name.

What are "the years on those??? Which is mine ?? Bruiserforce, Bluesteel six or Killer B?? These are Over welmingly good Ideas some one should tell phord/international and bow/Izuzu that we'll sting um every time:-laf Oo.

Not totally positive, but I think the Super B was the 89-93 (rotary inj. pump) and the Killer B was 94-98 (P7100 pump). Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. If I could call mine a Killer B, I would get a sticker with that and put it on the truck.
