Hi

My new Goerend triple plate really hooks up great empty,

but way to hard pulling my little camper 5000# max.

Using the search all afternoon trying to find an unlock

mystery switch. Would anyone kindly point me toward

which wire to hook up to, and if it needs positive or negative impulse?\

Or an idea where to look would be good too?

Thank you in advance.

I did my 97 with a 3way switch, reg-unlocked-locked. It works really well. There are threads on here about how to do it. There is one member in particular who really seems to have a handle on it, but his name escapes me right now. If I remember it, I'll post it. Anyone else know?

Thanks for quick reply, I'm on the road , probably won't reply again till Sun.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. :)

And that switch sounds like what the Doctor ordered!!!!

Thanks V Baker, but this what I already got, I'm looking for one that

keeps it unlocked or both . I think it has to do with the brake switch I might have to look at wiring diagram and figure it out.

Don't stop now, keep 'em ideas comin' Thanks

Use the TST diagram as a reference. Cut the wire they say not to cut. Use a three position switch with center off. Connect the center pole to the trans wire, one outer pole to the wire to the PCM, and the other wire to a ground. I mounted my switch so that up is TCC locked, down is PCM control, and center is forced unlock.

After wiring my switch that way I later added a floor mounted dimmer switch. I connected the ground wire from the switch to the center pole on the floor switch, a ground wire to the body to one outer pole, and a green LED to the other outer pole. The other side of the LED is connected to 12 volts from the ignition on circuit. The floor switch makes it more convenient to temporarily unlock the TCC. The LED is on with the TCC is forced to stay unlocked. This is consistant with the way the OD lock out light works.

Thanks

Thanks to V Baker and Joe G.

This is exactly what I was looking for . :D
