Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Went to the coast with the TT last weekend, first tow since the Westach boost egt install.
When boost reaches about 18lbs, I'm getting a hissing sound from the gauge!
lower than that ,no sounds.
So is a call into Geno's in order? or is this normal for this gauge?
Have checked the boost hose, with air pressure from a compressor, and it seems ok.
One other thing, with engine not running, when I turn the key on the boost needle goes up to about 1-2 lbs.
Sounds like a bad gauge, but wanted to check with you all first.
Saw a max boost of 22 psi and max egt of 1000 on long pull up hills at wot
