Just an idea, I suspect a common question we all have is what will my numbers be if I install a... ... ... ... ... . , you fill in the blank.

Since many members have dynoed, a listing of dyno results, along with the signature line would help those of us who are dyno challanged expand our bragging rights. And prehaps better spend our dollars in the future as we look at various combinations of parts.

Possible format; HP... ... ... ... ... ...

TQ... ... ... ... ... ...

RPM... ... ... ... ... .

EGT... ... ... ... .....

Boost... ... ... .....

So, what do you guys think. There are no dyno's in my area, and I've had several folks ask what my HP is, this would give a little more validity to my guess, and hopefully others. I know I hit 36lbs boost on a flat, 38 on a slight grade, and can slip the stock clutch with a load in 4th. But, I have a hard time beleaving the 10hp per lb. of boost rule of thumb which would be 360-380hp in my case.

Thanks, Ronnie

Its in the sig!

When I just had a #6 plate alone i ran a 160hp and 450 tq with my converter unlocked and out of OD.

Then when you throw in a set of 370s, DV, GSK, 16 degrees of timming and transmission mods Then run it in OD with the converter locked it bumps me up to 371hp and 844tq.

I changed the #6 to a #4 and a fresh transfer pump I hit 410hp and 907tq

I would guess your hp as being around 250hp and around 700tq

just a guess!

lets hear it for Joe D.

600+ HP with #2 only is truly Awesome and Joe should be proud.

I have seen the 24 Valve guys try 600 with drugs and its hard.

Hats off to Joe :)

1st dyno session: bone stock... 139. 9/349ft-lbs.

2nd dyno session: no plate/wastegate plugged... . 258. 6/714ft-lbs.

Now: 40psi... . 1500*if I really step on it for about 30seconds... . lots of smoke if I try... . none if I don't..... etc.

Money spent... . $0. 00

Risk factor... . very high.

Now with Piers' governor spring kit... . the thing feels like 325hp at the wheels.

I never have had a chance to put her on a dyno yet to see what is going to the ground. But there is plenty of grunt under the hood to be able to pull our 5er at or above the speed limit(if needed) over the coastal mountain range. And also maintain what ever speed I set the cruise control on on most of the hills between Ca and Arkansas.

As you can see by my sign. she is still running nearly stock. .

I love my truck!!!!:-laf :-laf :-laf

97's a good year. I have a 230 HP plate, don't know what # it is, it's slid forward 1/16". In locked-up "D" it puts out 278 HP to the roller, at about 645 torque at 2200 RPM. Hitting 31-32 lbs boost at the same time. All this at 150k miles.

TST #10 plate slide all the way forward

AFC Housing all the way forward

No AFC spring and washer trimmed

Piers 4K Gov kit

Piers 60Lb valve springs

AFE mega canon

Ted Janetty 4" turbo back exhaust

Stock turbo, 36" X 14. 50 tires, and 4:10's

325 RWHP @ 790 Ftlbs Torque

Dyno Run w/o fan.

Just a side note. Several of up ND,MN folks got together at a shop to BS and run on the dyno. I had my engine fan off as I usually do all winter. Winter front was down (Gettmen) installed between Radiator and Intercooler.

Did a two runs on a DynoJet. Not heat problems at all. Spent few minutes running in high gear to get a little heat pior to make the runs.

I also have a BHAF with a home made Mallory made out of 1/8" alumiunum tread plate. It was still cool after the runs with NO are movement what so ever on the dyno and w/o a fan.

Motors really sound cool when up close and personal and NO FAN.

Did 346 hp and 785 torque with a #11 and 200K hard breakin miles. Truck is a 1996 5sp.
