aneroid adjustment

Power Wagon---- When you mentioned tweek the aneroid (diaphragm) to cut down on smoke do you mean the starwheel adjustment. After i installed pw's i noticed more smoke when i jump on throttle, and i thought maybe i would adjust it. Also is 650-700 rpm's enough idle speed. Mine calls for 800, but with low stall converter its hard to hold at stop lights. RDODD.

As far as the idle speed... If it doesn't stall or shake too bad, I guess it's ok.



Be aware, though, that low idle speeds have been known to cause smoke when cold and sometimes even missing or surging when idling cold, too.



Just do what you need to do to make it liveable.
