Database crash

Whenever I open up a thread, on every post there is this little icon that looks like the play button and part of a pause button for some sort of media player. I can click on it and it does nothing. It shows up at random locations on each post, sometimes covering up text. Also, it only shows up on TDR. Anyone else have this issue and/or know how to get rid of it? FWIW, I'm running Netscape 7. 1 on MacOSX 10. 3.

I'll try that. I noticed today that the icon only shows up when I'm logged into the TDR. If I logout, then it disappears.

It's probably that the code that the TDR site is using in your browser you aren't going to other sites that are using that code. It's definately something on your end, either spy-ware, a bot, or a virus. I regularly run www.ad-aware.com on my machine to clear out most of the stuff and of course keep my virus scan current.

Apparently, spybot and adaware only run on windows. I'll have to search around for a similar application that runs on MacOSX. Any suggestions would be most helpful.

Thought I posted a response yesterday. Guess it didn't work.

I've seen this on a *few* websites that have sound. I'm using the konqueror web bowser on linux. For some reason, the bowser doesn't recognize the HTML/Javascript code as something it can run with the internal/built-in sound player, so konqueror uses a different plugin. Since MacOSX is unix-based, this could be your problem.

I just ignore it, since audio isn't all that important anyway.
