annoying noise in my dash....

I was driving down a rough lease road the other day and noticed a noise coming from the dash sounds like a cricket every time i go over a bump. It seems to be getting worse now its any bump and its squeaking its driving me nuts. Anyone else with this problem??. Takin it in asap.

i have a rattle that comes on at around 2000 rpm. I better find it soon because i dont think that dodge will cover a shotgun blast to the dashboard under warranty.

NO its coming from deep inside the dash and i have the electronic shifter. DAVE...

I had a bad noise comming from the passenger seat this weekend. The faster I drove the louder it got. Was really getting to be a pain in the butt. I also had the same noise comming from the passenger seat when I stright piped the truck. I think I will leave the wife home from now on and that noise will stop comming from the passenger seat. :-laf

It may seem like the noise is comming from the dash, I tore my truck apart looking for this noise. Turns out the shift linkage has plastic bushings ath the pivot points. Lube these pivots and noise will go away. Worked for me. . My truck is an automatic.
