Some show up late morning say 11 - noon. We try to get things going between noon and 1pm. The week before we should try and get a head count for those of you that want to run on the dyno. I will let Mike know so he can plan accordingly. I would call ahead if you plan on any "other work" as the day gets pretty tied up with watching dyno runs and now with Mikes new engine Dyno.

John and I will have some lunch for everyone before we head out later in the afternnoon. Sounds like John will be serving his award winning HBR's.

So far planning on making the journey to Mikes. I am pretty sure Adam wants to dyno it.

Do ya still have any peices left over from yer ol stacks? If I remember right you ran square tube in the box that the pipes were mounted on? Thats primarily what I'd would be interested in.

Thanks

I'm sure it would be safe at the truck stop in Rogers.

Josh

Is that a place that some are meeting to drive up ? Last yr. I met , if I remember rite was the Fat kid .
If so whats a good time ?

I believe I read in here that a bunch of us are meeting at 6am at the truck stop in Rogers.

Anyone want to conferm that?

I just got done working 2 weekends in a row so I can make this weekend and next!

I planned on meeting at the truck stop at 6am like the rest, so if you dont mind driving it to there and then you can hitch a ride from me there. :D

Hey, how long is this drive by the way? And how long were you thinking about staying? Just wondering, trying to schedule a few things. My brother is throwing a game night that night so I need to know if I can make it to that or not.

Yes I will bring my O-rings. I just got back from riding in some really deep snow... ... ... . it rocked, till I came home, what a mess. Anyway as I am catching up on things I wish I had read this thread sooner. Billy I picked up my daughter in Menominee yesterday, I could have grabbed them then since I had the truck. Might be able to head over there some time this week to get them I will let you know. Otherwise next Sunday is the soonest I would be over there.

Spicy,

Don't worry about the tires, I am going to pass on them. They are 235-85R16s, and I just don't like the look of the tall skinny tires. Thanks for the offer though, I really appreciate it.

I am deeply jealous of the mountain riding! We were up in Silver Bay this past weekend. We rode from 9am to 1pm yesterday and put on less than 200' of trails. The snow was waist to neck deep in the woods and swamps too.

Later,

Will

Update....

WOW... sounds like the interest and attendance will be up from our last events. John is checking with Mike to start a little earlier as the dyno list is growing. Here is a link John provided of those wanting to Dyno http://gra.midco.net/johne/MN-ND-Mar2006.html We are just trying to get a rough idea to be better prepared. Things have generally ran pretty loose at Mikes but this time I think we will have to be alittle more organized to fit everything in. Be prepared for a couple of us to act like your mother! I will post again if the time changes or is moved up. Once the start time is known, I will let you other western ND guys know when we should be at the Oasis truck stop in Bismarck.

Jeff H. ! I sold the whole setup to a guy in Indiana. Sorry. Don't tell me you want those noisy things again.

Weather has been kind of wild the last week in SD, MN and ND. I hope it it keeps a window open for our event.

Spicy... . You didn't pass any new RVs heading west on your return by chance? Seems like every other rig heading west this weekend was a RV being delivered and east bound it was returning snowmobiling outfits.

The snow we had was at least 2 to 3 feet extra every other day. Having to stand on the sled to just be able to see where you going was the coolest. Overall from the depth gauges out there snow was an average 10 feet deep at 8000 feet. I am taking reservations already for next years ride. For those that don't know how I do this here it goes.

We have a semi that hauls our sleds out. Lodging is paid for, all you need to do is get yourself there and back, and plan for food. The trip is 320 bucks a head, and I usally end up spending another 300 for food, fuel and gas. You ride a full week out there, and usally I take 2 days to travel out and drive straight through coming back. Talk to me more later if intrested.

Now, Friday some of us will be meeting at the Fat Kids and head from there, sounds as if 6am works to meet up at the truck stop. So far count me in, I still have a lot to do though. Later Jim.

Actually I did see a few heading west. Saw one new one being towed then the vechical right behind that one had one couple on, maybe 3 I can't remember.

Hey Gerald! How come you didn't flag me down? Just use your middle finger because if you were to use all five fingers when you wave, I would not have a clue what you wanted! I get told I am "Number 1" several times a day. Oh, and that I should go rot in hell. I love my job!

JJW posted after your last post that he'll let us know later in the week what time we are leaving. I'm going to wait to fuel up till that morning. I buy my fuel at Oasis anyhow. Gonna try to throw a coat of wax on her before we go. I at least want her to look pretty on the dyno... !

Let me know when youer doing that I will bring my up for you to do too LOL. I think I fill up there in the morning too. I went and got a rope so you guys can tow me LOL.

Gerald

Starting Mid Morning....

With a long list of trucks to dyno and past gatherings see trucks arriving at 10, if early arrivals want to dyno, they can run as soon as them get there. John will be there early. I will try to get there around 10. Those wanting to meet at Oasis in Bismarck, lets be ready head out by 7 am.

Mike has reduce his standard dyno price to $40 for the initial run and $25 additional runs while still hooked up. Find John E. or Me (Jerry W) if you want to dyno and we will add you to the list. Will run in sign up order and hope to get all trucks a run. Mikes has lots of room to stage and have trucks ready to run. We will try to have things organized.

Early weather has snow before and after Saturday so we should be OK.

If you are still riding the fence on attending, this looks to be a good one NOT to miss.

Jerry is right... this is a Great event. This turn out sounds to be the best yet!

Talking with The Fat Kid, Spicy and Holeshot, it sounds like a group of us will be meeting at the Truck stop in Rogers at 6am. Anyone that would like to run up there as a group... . I'm gonna guess we'll try to roll out of there as soon as possible, so lets say 6:15.

Josh

JJW, BillVO, and GeraldGordon, I'll be at Oasis at 6 AM for breakfast if you want to join me. Barbwire, I'm guessing you are going across 200????? Dave

JJW, the list. Is it the one you have a link to or is there a list when we get there for the dyno runs? Just curious. Dave

Alphacowboy that would be a long drive for you to eat with us. It is in bismarck ND where where eating. But hay if you want to the food is good up to you.
