Gatewat Raceway in STL,MO

wyo here i come

Going to be alot of fun.....

Don't worry about the sign up. Things will still be casual and adjust as needed depending on time and what you all want. John and I thought with more dyno runs planned then in the past we would attemp a little organization. If things run smooth with trucks coming and going from the dyno there should no trouble getting every a chance to run. Mike or his right hand man Scott will run the trucks on the dyno. They have alot of experience dyno diesel pickups and will get a good reading. If you have never been around a dynojet dyno your only disapointment is how fast the run is over.

John and my though on having a list is to post the numbers after each run and get something for all to see to reduce the traffic around the computer and drivers side of the dyno.

See you all there!

JJW, BillVO, and GeraldGordon, I'll be at Oasis at 6 AM for breakfast if you want to join me. Barbwire, I'm guessing you are going across 200????? Dave

Yes, we will be going east on 200 till about Cooperstown, then north. See ya there. Oo.

I have a large white board if you want to post the names and numbers on. Let me know if you want me to bring it up. I think it is 4' x 5'. I just don't have a stand for it, but may look around here for one. Just let me know, that is a good way to make quick reference as to who has what model and put a name to the truck. Later Jim.

Alphacowboy that would be a long drive for you to eat with us. It is in bismarck ND where where eating. But hay if you want to the food is good up to you.

oops, I was thinking the truckstop in Rogers, never mind! :-laf

Well as lady luck would have it, I am a scratch. Found out last night that parts were not going to be here in time to make the run. I am really bummed but I want things right, my hat is off to my vendors for trying everything possible to get the products to me. Unfortunalty not all of thier vendors are on the same page. I really wanted to run and may end up within the next 2 weeks making an appointment to spin the rollers at Hitech just to see where I am at.

That would be a negative. There was two of us promoting what we sell and do, Andy will be there since most all of his parts have showed up, me well I am not going to get a shipment of goodies until this week. I will hang onto them and wait till the next time around. That is why I am not heading up, what I wanted to show off is not ready, since I am the 4th to have one. Later Jim.

well crap!

Guys, looks like I cant make it after all, busted my *** to get some stuff done so I could make it only to get smacked with a nasty ear infection! Feels like someone ran a drill bit down my ear! :{ Hurts like hell. I was suppose to pick up a set of rims, and was wondering if one of you guys could maybe pick them up for me and bring them back with you? I am suppose to deliver them to a friend in IA next week sometime.

Sorry guys, feel real bad that I cant make it, was really looking forward to it too!

Sorry guys but I have been sick off and on all week and I don't think it would be wise to risk a relapse. Besides if Jim can bail because he didn't get parts I guess I can bail because I only have so much sick/vacation time, which I have been saving so I could supervise you clowns at IRP this year! It's been a really really long week and I'm going to sleep now.

Tell Mike and Scott I said hello and don't refer to their location as "the middle of nowhere" I sensed they resented that.

Yes!!!, you are going to IRP... ... ... ... ... . rooms are getting tight... lol. Lets see I have 4 of them.

Andy, Me, Kevin & Angie, Aron, Chilly, Josh, Bobbi, Ashley, Matt & wife, and now Scott... . sweet... ... ... still on hold but not confirmed, Jim T. , Nick, if I am missing anyone out of our group I am sorry... ... ...

Now back to some numbers, where they at I would like to see something. Also yes Scott, having a stock truck right now blows. Injectors are here ATS is here been waiting on the Silver Bullet, housing got behind at vendor, that was the delay. Once I get it all together and get a few miles on it, I am heading to Hitech to see what changes happen. If a clutch upgade is needed I have the double disk still sitting here. Later dudes, Jim.

If I don't respond right away it is because I am using my daughters computer, she is leaving soon back to scool... ... ... ... ... ... lol, Geek Squad has mine... ... ... ... it died Thursday.

Well to everyones surprise my truck only made 532hp and 1077tq. and we had a experiment with mike to change his driving style with a big single vs. twins or a stock truck. his style was lock it up and stand on it, the curve looks like a rolling hill. the way i wanted him to try it was to lock it up ride the brakes at 45MPH and build 15-18lbs of boost. the result was that my method gained 26. 88 hp and 40. 54 ft-tq. and after wards i was on the phone with several people and they all confirmed that i should have made close to 600hp. so its back to the drawing board to see where i lost power or what we did wrong on the dyno.

hey Jim, when you said "Matt & wife" were you refering to me? I would love to make IRP, but looks like I might be in Poland on a missions trip. Thats still in the air though.

Sorry guys I didnt make it, glad I didnt go though! Lift Pump died on my yesterday, and to top that off, the ear infection went away, well away from my ear into my right eye!!! Driving back from ND with blured vision in my right eye (dominate) I think would have been a bad mix!

I had agood time at Mikes,I just wish I wasnt so tired. Friday night I was up past 2am and I woke up about 5am :{ . Hwy 2 was solid ice with lots of cars in the ditch west of Minot on the way home,so I hope everybody got home ok.

Josh,I just finished looking at your site, nice bunch of pics.

I just added the pic I took of my truck on the dyno to my readers rigs gallery if anyone wants to check it out.

I hope to make it to Mikes again, only with more ponies next time ;)

That would be a big 10-4, it was suppose to be here before Friday, along with some extra shirts and stickers for the event. Well I can tell ya, Brady tried about everything possible to speed things up, vendor hold up is what it came down too, on both the housing and down pipe. No big deal, yes I am a little bummed, but I can wait.

So my new injectors are sitting on the work bench, ATS exhaust manifold, and now waiting on the turbo and the ss down pipe. May just order myself new exhaust since I am waiting.
