Took the truck in before it ran out of basic warranty last month for a few small things. Leaking diffs, leaking front signal lenses, leaking 3rd brake light, and the infamous hitch recall. Piece of cake, only a couple hours right? Not with these guys.

Dropped off @ 7:30 and told them I needed it by 3:00. They musta started @ 2:45. When I got there @ 3:15 it was still in the air, hitch not done, lights not done(oops, wrong lens), diffs still draining. Left @ 4:30, late for my wife's office Christmas party.

Parts came in and they "finished" the job yesterday in a mere 3 hours. Metal shavings all over from the Rube Goldberg hitch fix.

I looked at the lights when I stopped for fuel tonight. They were flopping in the breeze. Mr. "Master Mechanic" installed them wrong, apparently the tab A in slot B thing was too confusing.

It's a good thing that from now on "I am my own warranty station". Big D and the dealer will never meet again. BOMBs away.
