Brakes!!F250 Cummins 12V

Putting 95 ctd into 78 k20. Donor engine has a/c but I do not want it and will be removing it. But it appears that the bracket is part of the water inlet housing??? If this is correct the inlet housing/ a/c bracket will still hit the frame. Was a different water inlet housing utilized on the non a/c equipped trucks:confused:

Look on Ebay at pictures of the 4bt. You'll get the idea of the other style. There's many different styles available but the 4bt has the popular one used in repower. To utilize that style you'll also need the alternator bracket.

Yeah I started looking around on the net at engines with different options then to quickserve online with a couple of engine numbers and found what i was looking for. Thanks

Just take the bracket off the motor and cut off the bottom half that the a/c compressor bolts to.

Then just reinstall the inlet and youre done.

Ahhh funny that you suggest that because I put it on the band saw and amputated the a/c section today while mounting and fabricating brackets for my cs130 Delco alternator. :-laf
