My AC blows cold air when I'm driving, but as soon as I slow down or stop for any reason the a/c seems like it shuts off and the air gets warmer. But as soon as I take off and am driving again, the cold air comes right back on. What could be causing this sudden change? I do know that the air won't be as cold when just sitting still as it is when driving, but this is a very noticible rapid change.

As you drive the truck air rush's thru the condensor, thus cooling it. When yo stop the fan clutch is not kicking in to pull air thru the condesor. I believe you have the wiring that goes in front of the fan clutch. if you have gone thru any high water lately, it is probobly cut. Thats what mine did.

If your driving in very dirty conditions your radiator and condensor may be getting plugged. I drive in a lota dirty conditions and I have to blow everyting out from time to time to get everything cooling again. This would be cheapest thing to try first
