Another Amalgamated

Has anyone use Amalgamated winter blend? Im sold on their products but have yet needed winter additive for anti gel.

I have been using it for quite a few years well ever since the write up in the TDR mag years ago. I used to use the summer blend as the truck was my daily driver. The last 3 years I have been using the winter blend year round as the truck is not my daily driver any more and I dont go through enough of it now to warrant using both. I get the 5gal pail and it lasts over a year.

No problems with fuel gelling ?

I have never had any problem with fuel gelling. Though the coldest that I can confirm that it has been after sitting overnight with a cold start not being able to plug in the heater is -29 deg. Started right up no problem, ran the grids twice, batteries were a bit sluggish and was noisy as heck for a bit after startup but she did fire right up.



This was running the amalgamated winter blend.
