I had the middle u-joint in the drive shaft replaced at 53,000 miles. Yesterday I started getting a bad vibe again... . at highway speed, push in the clutch and you'd feel it in the seat and mirror would vibe. Took it in today and they said another bad u-joint They didn't tell me which one was bad this time, but did tell me they are going to replace all 3. I'm at 59,750 miles right now. So hopefully this will take care of it and there won't be anymore probs. but if there are, I hope it's before 71,750 or DC will hopefully take care of it, since it's been a reoccuring prob.

just thought I'd mention it, since about the same time my first one went I heard of a few others on here or DTR

Any mods or lifts? Are you of the "drive it like you stole it" school?

I'm glad they took care of it so easily. Dodge worked on my 93 three times before they figured out the u-joint was bad.

Well, I told them what it was the first time... I just wan't sure which one it was.

I've had 2 differnt EZ on it one on level 6 for 25,000+ miles and the new one on 4 for almost 10,000. An AFE intake, and BFG 315s. No, I don't think I'm hard on the truck at all. definitely not DILYSI... I haven't even towed anything for 15,000 or so miles. and never pulled more than maybe 7500 pounds, or overloaded the bed. I'll be leaving for the beach tomorrow after I get it back, I think they're gonna want me to bring it in after I get home so they have time to try to figure out what is causing this(well I hope they want me to)

If one went bad before, it caused these to go bad. The bad vibes caused by the bad ujoint would destroy the others, in your case that was 6,750 miles. By replacing all three you will not be in there again. I Hope.
